Avanti Doors Policy
How we expect work to be handled
These standards set expectations for clear scope, accurate records, suitable competence, information handling, fair conduct, site risk and waste.
1Scope and limitations
We agree what work is and is not included.
We ask for the information needed to understand the site and requested outcome, state material assumptions or limitations, and explain changes in scope before carrying out additional chargeable work wherever circumstances allow.
2Accurate records and quotations
We aim to keep advice, quotations and service records accurate.
We distinguish confirmed facts from estimates, record relevant findings and work completed, avoid knowingly misleading descriptions, and correct a material error when it is identified.
3Role-appropriate competence
We allocate work to people with suitable knowledge and supervision for the task.
We maintain role-relevant training, instructions and equipment, seek specialist input where a task is outside the available competence, and do not describe unverified qualifications or accreditations as confirmed.
4Information handling
We limit access to client and site information to people who need it for an authorised purpose.
We handle enquiry, access, photograph and service information under our Website Privacy Policy and applicable contractual duties. Information may be processed by the disclosed service providers, used for security and record-keeping, or disclosed where legally required; it is not treated as public material.
5Fair conduct and correction
We deal respectfully and provide a route for concerns to be reviewed.
We avoid deliberate misrepresentation, improper pressure and undisclosed conflicts that could materially affect a recommendation. If a concern or mistake is raised, we record it, review the available evidence and explain the corrective action or next step.
6Site risk and waste
We use proportionate controls for the risks identified at each site.
We follow agreed access and isolation arrangements, use task-appropriate risk controls, report material hazards and stop work where conditions cannot be made acceptably safe. Removed components, packaging and other waste are separated and passed to appropriate reuse, recycling or disposal routes where reasonably available.
