Scope of works

A straightforward, well-executed local install

What we supplied and installed

  • New FAAC automatic barrier — cabinet, boom arm and balancing mechanism at the resort's main vehicle entrance
  • Safety photocells and induction-loop vehicle detection across the entry lane
  • Warning lights and signage, with power and communication cabling installed and terminated
  • Earthing and bonding verified, with insulation-resistance and continuity testing carried out
  • Control settings configured, then full commissioning — open/close cycles, safety devices, emergency stop and vehicle detection
  • Handover to the resort team with operation and maintenance manuals and commissioning/test certificates

Why it matters for the site

  • Controlled vehicle access at the point where guests, caravan movements and deliveries all arrive
  • A reliable, purpose-built barrier in place for the peak holiday season
  • Installed by a local Norfolk team — Hunstanton is around 30 minutes from our West Lynn base
  • The same team is available for servicing and reactive support going forward
