A specified roller shutter installation
Avanti Doors supplied and installed a new tubular-operated roller shutter system in Central London, replacing a unit described in the project record as non-compliant. The new shutter has a PPC (polyester powder coated) finish, an integrated anti-fall safety brake, a perforated lath section above a wicket door and a manual override. The work was scheduled during normal working hours.

How we did it
Installation process

Engineers attended site during normal working hours.

Isolated the mains power to the existing roller shutter for safe removal.

Removed the non-compliant shutter system and cleared the opening.

Supplied and installed the specified roller shutter with an integrated anti-fall brake and PPC finish.

Connected the new shutter system to mains power, safety brake, motor and key switch.

Set operational limits and tested functionality thoroughly.

Provided an operational demonstration to the on-site manager.
