Estates, parks and car parks
Keep every vehicle moving
On an industrial estate, business park or car park, one failed gate or barrier can stop every vehicle on site. Avanti Doors installs, maintains and repairs automatic gates, rising-arm barriers, rising bollards, access control and industrial doors for estate owners, managing agents and occupiers. Based in King's Lynn, Norfolk, with weekly routes across East Anglia, Essex and London.
What we install and maintain
Gates, barriers and doors across the site

Automatic Gates
Sliding, cantilever and swing gates for site perimeters, yards and compounds, automated and maintained against BS EN 12453.

Rising-Arm Barriers
Barriers for estate entrances, gatehouses and car parks, with loops, safety devices and access control set up to the traffic plan.

Rising Bollards
Automatic bollards for controlled vehicle access where a barrier arm is not enough.

Car Park Access Control
Barriers, readers, intercoms and app access combined so tenants, visitors and deliveries each get the right route in.

Industrial Doors & Shutters
Roller shutters, sectional and high-speed doors on the units themselves, on the same contract as the gates.

Fire Shutters
Fire-rated shutters with drop tests and release checks recorded for the fire risk assessment.

Common questions
Gate and barrier FAQs
Quick answers for estate owners, managing agents and site managers.
1Do automatic gates and barriers need regular maintenance?
Yes. Powered gates and barriers are work equipment and a known crush and impact risk, so they should be maintained and safety-checked at regular intervals, with the force limits, safety edges, photocells and loops tested and the results recorded. We work to BS EN 12453 and the DHF TS 011 code of practice.
2Can you take over gates and barriers installed by another company?
Yes, subject to an onboarding survey. We record each gate, barrier and operator, check it against current safety requirements and agree any remedial work before maintenance starts.
3Can one contract cover the estate gates and the unit doors?
Yes. Entrance gates, car park barriers, bollards, roller shutters and fire shutters can sit on one asset register with one visit schedule, which suits estate owners and managing agents responsible for shared and tenanted areas.
