Commercial doors for retail
Entrances that keep the store trading
A failed automatic entrance or shutter can disrupt access and trading. Avanti Doors installs, services and repairs shopfront doors, automatic entrances and security shutters for shops, shopping centres and retail parks across East Anglia and the London corridor. Planned visits and non-urgent work can be arranged around trading hours, while reactive priorities are agreed for each maintenance contract.
What we look after
Door systems used across retail sites

Automatic Sliding & Swing Doors
The main customer entrance — installed, adjusted and safety-tested so footfall keeps flowing at peak trading times.

Shopfront Aluminium Doors
Glazed aluminium shopfront doors and framing — repairs to closers, locks and hinges, or full replacement fronts.

Roller Shutters & Grilles
Security shutters and grilles for overnight protection, with servicing scoped to the surveyed equipment.

Multi-Branch Portfolios
One maintenance contract can cover the surveyed branches in scope, with one point of contact and a consistent record format.
Why retail teams choose Avanti
Built around trading hours, not ours
Planned maintenance helps surface wear before it causes disruption, while each contract sets out how reactive faults are triaged and attended.
Out-of-hours working
Where site access allows, planned servicing and non-urgent work can be scheduled before opening or after close to reduce disruption.
Powered-door safety checks
Automatic-entrance force and sensor checks are matched to the system, site risk assessment and applicable BS EN 16005 requirements.
Agreed reactive support
Coverage hours and attendance priorities are set out in the contract for each store or portfolio.
Mixed-brand estates
We survey existing doors and shutters, then confirm the equipment covered by one maintenance scope.
Multi-site contracts
Bring the surveyed branches in scope under one agreement, with a consistent service-record format for each site.
Clear written quotations
Send the site and asset details and we will confirm the survey or information needed for a written scope.

Common questions
Retail door contracts FAQs
Quick answers for retail facilities and store operations teams comparing maintenance cover.
1Can you carry out door works outside our trading hours?
Yes. Planned maintenance visits, shutter servicing and non-urgent repairs can be scheduled before opening, after close or in another agreed access window. Reactive coverage is confirmed separately in the maintenance agreement.
2Can one contract cover all of our branches?
Yes. A multi-site maintenance contract can cover the surveyed branches in scope across East Anglia and the London corridor, with one agreement, one point of contact and a consistent record format for each included site.
3Do retail automatic doors need BS EN 16005 servicing?
Powered pedestrian doors need an appropriate inspection and maintenance regime. Where applicable to the agreed scope, servicing can include force, sensor and safety-device checks against BS EN 16005, with the work recorded for the site's safety file.
